Turkish League finals, Game 3 The best-of-seven Turkish League playoff finals still doesn't have a home winner after Anadolu Efes came from behind to stop Besiktas Milangaz with a 67-69 road win on Sunday. Besiktas still leads the series 2-1 after winning the first two games on the court of Efes. This time, Efes turned the tables and completed its rally from 12 points behind at halftime with baskets by Cenk Akyol and Dusko Savanovic in the final minute. Kerem Gonlum led Efes with 20 points and 7 rebounds, while Sasha Vujacic added 14 points and Akyol 11. Point guard Oliver Lafayette also had 8 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. For Besiktas, Zoran Erceg posted a double-double of 17 points, 10 rebounds, while David Hawkins scored 16 more and Carlos Arroyo 11. Besiktas looked to have had the series under full control as it raced to a 20-9 lead after one quarter and stayed ahead 45-33 at halftime behind the scoring of Erceg and Hawkins. Out of the break, however, Efes went to Lafayette, Gonlum and Vujacic to scored the first 7 points of the thrid quarter and get back in the game at 45-40. Although Besiktas re-established a double-digit lead with the next 5 points, Efes kept up the charge with Akyol to take a 58-59 advantage after 30 minutes. Besiktas lead again by as many as 5 points, 64-59, late in the game before Efes made a 3-10 closing run to steal the victory. All three games so far have been decided by 7 or fewer points, with Game 4 due on Tuesday on the court of Besiktas.
