Anadolu Efes eliminates Banvit, joins Besiktas in TBL Finals

Fifth crucial game of TBL Semifinals between Banvit and Anadolu Efes just ended. Visitors grabbed 72-77 road victory and advanced to the Finals. There, Anadolu Efes will meet Besiktas, who eliminated Galatasaray earlier. It will be another best-of-five series.

Banvit BK was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 23-17 charge of Anadolu Efes, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was international power forward Kerem Gonlum (208-77) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Uruguayan Esteban Batista (208-83) chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds. American point guard Kalin Lucas (185-89) produced 20 points and 5 assists and the former international guard Serkan Erdogan (190-78) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
