Omer Onan had 16 points, Semih Erden got 15 while Rasim Basak pulled down 11 rebounds for FB Ulker, that trailed 72-71 with 7 minutes left. Three-pointers by Onan, Preldzic and Greer boosted the guests' lead to 73-82. Aliaga got within 85-88 but a double technical foul on Reha Oz and the hosts' bench allowed Greer to seal the outcome from the foul line. Galatasaray Cafe Crown improved to 6-7 by edging Besiktas Cola Turka 87-96 on the road on Saturday. Rado Rancik led the winners with 23 points.
Mike Wilkinson added 22, Murat Kaya got 16, Darius Washington had 13 while Simas Jasaitis and Evren Buker each contributed 11 for Galatasaray. Mire Chatman had 18 points for Besiktas, Lonny Baxter added 17, Engin Atsur 15 and Haluk Yildirim 10. Besiktas led 72-67 early in the fourth quarter but Wilkinson and Rancik stepped up to make Galatasaray regain the lead at 79-82. Wilkinson had all points in a 0-7 run that sealed the outcome. Turk Telekom moved up to 7-6 by downing Pinar Karsiyaka 82-67 in Ankara on Saturday. Lamayn Wilson led the winners with 24 points. Soner Senturk and Demond Mallet each added 13 while Erwin Dudley got 10 for Telekom, that overcame an early deficit to get a 37-28 halftime lead and kept full control of the game after the break. In other games, Darussafaka beat Antalya 66-75, Tofas upset Mersin 68-80, Erdemir downed Oyak 69-84 while Banvit thrashed Bornova 65-83.
