One of the most recognizable stars of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague will stay put into the next decade as Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul announced an agreement with big man Jan Vesely to extend their relationship for three more years until the end of the 2021-22 season.
Fenerbahc Beko Istanbul celebrated winning the Turkish Cup for the first time in three years on Sunday in Ankara. Gigi Datome starred with 22 points and 7 rebounds and Kostas Sloukas produced 19 points and 9 assists to lead Fenerbahce past crosstown rival Anadolu Efes Istanbul 80-70.
